Join us at SXSW Eco 2014 for practical tools to increase animal welfare in food production

September 29 2014

We’re at this year’s South by Southwest Eco (SXSW Eco) conference on October 6-8 looking at how some of the world’s largest food businesses are changing the way we eat. We’ll be sharing our specialized tools to help businesses put in place animal-friendly food policies in their supply chain.

If you’re attending this unique event which brings together influencers and entrepreneurs that drive solutions for a sustainable world, make sure you join us on Tuesday, October 7, for our session on ‘Practical Tools to Increase Animal Welfare in Food’ with Kara Mergl, our U.S. Manager for Corporate Engagement. We also invite you to join us for a humane breakfast in the morning.

Backed by a growing interest in where our food comes from and how animals are treated, big business is responding with new commitments and policies to improve the standards of care for farm animals everywhere. But just exactly how are they doing it? Is a commitment enough? Come to find out the answers to these questions and learn more about the new tools businesses are using to create change. The new way of doing business is not just sustainable, it’s animal friendly too!

Humane Breakfast

We’re also proud to be the Humane Food Sponsor at the event. Join us for a breakfast of cage-free eggs, gestation crate-free pork and dairy produce from humanely raised cows. A humane breakfast always tastes better.
