World Animal Protection partnered with four creators in November to inspire impact for animals, people, and the planet.

November is full of cozy meals, holiday traditions, and family gatherings, but it’s also a month when many Americans eat more meat than usual. This year, World Animal Protection US partnered with creators to inspire people to try plant-based recipes that are good for animals, people, and the planet—without sacrificing flavor.

November: A Meat-Heavy Month

November is infamous for its meat-centric feasts: Thanksgiving turkey, holiday roasts, and heavy family dinners. That’s why No Meat November is the perfect challenge—it encourages people to try plant-based alternatives during one of the busiest, most indulgent months of the year. By showing that plant-based meals can be just as comforting, festive, and flavorful, our creator partnerships helped audiences rethink tradition without sacrificing enjoyment.

Why Plant-Based Eating Helps Animals, People, and the Planet

Eating more plant-based meals isn’t just about personal health. It has a ripple effect:

  • Animals: Reducing meat, dairy, and egg consumption helps decrease the demand for factory farming, sparing millions of animals from confinement, suffering, and death.
  • People: Plant-based meals can be healthier for your heart, your digestion, and your overall wellness.
  • Planet: Meat and dairy production are major contributors to greenhouse gas emissions, water use, and deforestation. Every plant-based meal counts toward a healthier planet.

How Partnering With Creators Inspires Change

We partnered with four creators—The Iranian Vegan, Proportional Plate, Dear Saturdays, and Mississippi Vegan—to show that plant-based eating can be approachable, fun, and delicious. By including influencers who aren’t exclusively vegan, we reached audiences who might not normally try plant-based meals. Their authentic voices, recipe videos, and personal tips encouraged thousands of people to reduce their meat and dairy consumption during November.
