Dine Vegan Nashville kicked off with amazing energy and incredible food. Here’s a look back at what made the first-ever Dine Vegan Nashville one to remember.
On Sunday, June 22, we kicked off the very first Dine Vegan Nashville with Deep Sea Vegan—and Music City showed up. From the moment the food truck doors opened, guests lined up for a taste of vegan seafood that had everyone talking. By the end of the day, we’d handed out just over 400 samples to a steady stream of curious meat eaters, longtime vegans, and folks just hungry for something new.
Kicking Things Off Right
The kickoff event was nothing short of amazing! People showed up before we even opened. As soon as 1 o’clock hit, the attendees showed up and just kept coming! We handed out free bamboo cutting boards with the Dine Vegan Nashville logo laser-engraved onto the board, and they were a huge hit. We also gave away bandanas, which attendees appreciated having in the warm weather that day. Attendees were also able to pick up their punch card, which, when completed, entered people into a chance to win a gift card to one of the participating restaurants. The best part, in just a few short hours, we handed out over 400 samples of free vegan seafood with Deep Sea Vegan.
And in case there was any doubt that this was a destination-worthy event, one guest made the trip all the way from Virginia just to try Deep Sea Vegan’s food and experience Dine Vegan Nashville firsthand. That level of enthusiasm? It’s exactly why we started this.
A Full Week of Flavor
After the buzz of the kickoff, the energy carried into the week. From June 22 to 28, six Nashville restaurants each featured a signature vegan dish—some offering discounts to diners with punch cards. Every restaurant brought something different to the table, and we heard from so many folks who were excited to discover new places they hadn’t tried before. That was the whole goal: make it easy, fun, and rewarding to choose vegan food in Nashville—even if it’s just for one meal.
What’s Next?
If you joined us this year in Nashville, thank you. We couldn’t have had such a successful event without you. Whether you came out for the samples, got a punch or two on your punch card, or just found a new favorite spot, we’re so glad you joined us. Music City made us feel so welcome!
And if you missed it? That’s okay! This was just the start.
We’re still exploring what the future of Dine Vegan looks like—whether that means coming back to Nashville or popping up somewhere new. Either way, we’re excited about what’s ahead and the growing interest in celebrating delicious vegan food.
