Our new podcast, “Animals Are Calling,” is now available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Each week, our Global Content Coordinator Carly Squires will be joined by a panel of experts from the organization to discuss the biggest issues affecting animals, people and the planet. From global pandemics to the climate crisis – we’ll hold the systems behind the cruelty responsible, and discover practical ways in which we, together, can change the way the world works to end animal suffering.
The first episode features our CEO, Steve McIvor, discussing why animal welfare needs to be raised in the global agenda. Our growing population, urbanization, and increasing wealth are driving demand in systems that commodify and exploit animals. If left unchecked, this worldwide problem will only continue to grow. In this episode we want you to imagine a better future, a better world where we help millions of animals’ lives in the next decade and listen to simple ways in which we can all combat this problem together.
