Matching Challenges are Mutually Beneficial to You and to Suffering Animals

Matching challenges can double or triple the impact of your donation, which means even more help for suffering animals.

During the holidays, I like to strategically shop at places where I know my dollar will stretch and go farther. I am always on the hunt for special gifts to give my friends and family without breaking the bank. While philanthropic giving doesn't offer discounts or coupons, it does offer you the ability to give back in a meaningful way. I'd like to share with you the Matching Gift Challenges, which are common during this time, and how you can utilize them to make your gift go twice as far and something even three times as far.

Matching Challenges are a type of giving program that can double or triple a donor's initial donation. Anyone can be a featured donor, and they are usually initiated by the donor, a corporation, or a foundation who pledges to donate a specific amount to match all monetary support from other donors during a specific time frame.

These dollar amounts are often only promised up to the amount that other donors give. Meaning, if you give $50, the matching challenge fund will match that donation until the full amount of the challenge has been exhausted. These challenges are beneficial to you, as the donor, because they provide the animals you so dearly love at least double the amount of dollars to allow for their care and support.

If there's any time to support the causes you love, it's when you have an option to make your dollar go further during a matching challenge. When you consider your giving plans, donate during a matching challenge and help protect animals twice as much with no additional cost to you. Even if you are a monthly donor, your funds are matched. Suffering animals, being forced to live lives of cruel abuse need your support.
