Liz Cabrera Holtz

Hi, I’m Liz.
As a wildlife campaign manager, I am responsible for developing inspiring and innovative projects to protect wild animals from exploitation and abuse. I went to law school with the sole purpose of making the world a kinder place for animals. Before joining World Animal Protection, I spent a decade working at animal protection organizations, focused on strengthening animal protection laws and connecting advocates with the tools they need to make meaningful change for animals.
I have a particular interest in policy change, empowering advocates, and how our work for animals fits into the larger social justice movement. My writing will concentrate on news, stories, and policies related to protecting wild animals and their habitats, with a focus on animals suffering in captivity and the wildlife trade.
