Cameron Harsh
Hi, I’m Cameron.
I have devoted my career to improving the health, sustainability, and equity of our food system, starting with food gardens and nutrition education in communities with limited access to fresh foods. Before joining World Animal Protection, I spent seven years in food and farming policy, advocating for regulations that protect public health, the environment, and farm animals.
Factory farming is animal cruelty, and it also harms rural communities, our health, and the environment. Ensuring that farm animals are provided fulfilling lives worth living helps create a stronger, more resilient food system. I hope to continue identifying creative ways to demonstrate how the wellbeing of animals and people are deeply connected.
My blog posts will focus on sharing our research, stories, and progress towards improving the lives of pigs in the US.
